Have you ever been working on a PDF document and realized some key information was missing?

It’s a pretty common situation which is why Drawboard PDF lets you insert text and add text boxes to your PDF documents. You can enter typed text onto your PDF and leave legible comments for your own reference or for others to review.

To add text to your PDF

1. Click Choose New Tool '+' on the toolbar
2. Select the Insert category
3. Select the Text Tool by clicking the '+' on the tool icon
4. Select the color, opacity, and size you want the text to be. The tool will then be added to your favorites bar and you will be able to move on to adding text to your document.
5. Navigate to the section of the document where you want to insert the text
6. With your mouse, finger or pen, click and drag to create a box large enough to fit the text you would like to insert and then release the click
7. Now you can enter text into the box you created
8. When you’re finished, click outside of the box to confirm your text.

To edit and move text

1. Click the Text Tool
2. Select the text you want to edit (or click the text with your finger or mouse when the Text Tool is not selected)
3. Edit mode is now enabled - you will see a menu appear at the bottom of your screen
4. Edit and update text using the tools provided.
