Have an Android tablet or mobile device? Good news for Drawboard PDF Pro users. Drawboard PDF is available to download on Android from the Google Play store!

The release of the Android app means that Drawboard PDF Pro users can complete their cross platform experience. With one Drawboard PDF account, users can access and mark up their documents at any time from any of their devices, now including Android. Seamlessly review documents on your laptop, mark up on the go on your tablet and revise and share on your mobile device.

What features are available on the Drawboard PDF Android app?

While still in its early stages, users can utilize a host of markup and note-taking tools for PDF documents with more coming soon. These tools include pens, highlighters and strikethroughs for marking up with ease. Users can insert signatures into PDF documents, as well as shapes, lines and images. Users can also calibrate their pages to utilize a host of measurement tools including length and area measurements (also available to Pro users on Windows and iOS). Importantly, across all devices, Pro users can upload their documents to the cloud to be accessed from additional devices, anywhere, any time. In addition to this, they can collaborate with others on shared documents and see markups as they happen. The cross platform utility of Drawboard PDF can be maximized by:

  • Architects, engineers and construction professionals: for measuring, reviewing or marking up site plans and technical drawings. Users can invite teammates or contractors to collaborate on shared drawings or documents. They can also use one device on site to mark up and have all document edits synced to their office device in real time.
  • Students: for note-taking and keeping on top of work during exam time and throughout the entire school or uni year.
  • Lawyers and other professionals: for reading, reviewing, marking up, signing and sharing documents
  • Educators: for marking and collating students’ schoolwork and collaborating on shared documents and resources.

Users can write and draw on PDF documents using a mouse, stylus or finger. Using a stylus, they can enjoy the feel of pen on paper with pressure sensitive ink.
