Bring drawings from Autodesk Forma into Projects, review them together, and publish the results back as a new version.

Autodesk Forma is Autodesk's industry cloud for AECO, with Forma Data Management as the common data environment holding the drawings, models, and documentation your project team works from.

With the Drawboard Projects integration, you can pull drawings straight from Forma and run the review where your team collaborates. Mark up together in real time, raise and assign Tasks, and keep every drawing linked to its source file. When a new revision lands mid-review, Projects slip sheets it in and carries your markups onto the current drawing, and you publish the reviewed set back to Forma as a new version once it's signed off.

How to connect Autodesk Forma

Setup happens once at the organization level, and everyone works from it after that.

An org admin opens Integrations in Drawboard Projects and connects your Autodesk Forma hub.
Select the Forma projects you want available to your team.
In any project, go to Documents and click Upload.
Choose Import from Forma, then search or browse to the drawings you need.
Select your drawings and import. They land in your drawing list, each one showing its current sync status.

When a review is complete, publish from the Pending Changes menu to send the marked-up drawing back to Forma.

Drawboard Projects and Autodesk Forma work together to keep design review moving without pulling drawings out of your common data environment.

Run a review on the released set: Import a design review folder from Forma in one pass, hold a live markup session in Projects, and publish the consolidated result back when the package is resolved.
Handle revisions mid-review: When updated sheets land in Forma while your session is running, sync them in and keep every markup on the current drawing. The previous revision stays in Projects for comparison.
Close out an external review cycle: Share the set with your consultants, collect their markups and Tasks against the current revision, and have an admin publish the resolved package back to Forma in one pass.
