APIs and webhooks let you connect Drawboard Projects to the other tools your team relies on. They’re ideal for Enterprise teams looking to automate steps, sync data, and trigger actions in real time.

With Drawboard Projects, you can use API keys and webhooks to integrate with internal systems or construction platforms. Use the public API for controlled data access and webhooks for event notifications, so reviews, issues, and documents stay in sync with the rest of your workflow.

How to connect API & Webhooks

Setup happens in the Account Admin portal and only takes a few steps.

  1. In Projects, open Account Admin and go to API Keys and Webhooks. (Web app, Enterprise only.)

  2. To create an API key: choose a name, set expiry (3, 6, or 12 months), select Full-access or Read-only, then Generate. Up to 10 keys per org.

  3. To add a webhook: select the event you want to receive, enter your destination URL, and Add Webhook.

  4. Test your integration and rotate keys or add more webhooks as your workflow grows.

Note: API Keys and Webhooks Management is in beta; Enterprise teams can work with their account manager for support.
