How to connect the Chrome extension

Setup takes a minute in Chrome and you’ll be ready to open and share from anywhere.

  1. Visit the Chrome Web Store listing and click Add to Chrome.

  2. Click the extension icon → Extension Settings to choose your preferences:
    • Replace browser PDF viewer
    • Open files in Drawboard PDF automatically (from web URLs or local files)
    • Gmail integration (show the Drawboard icon in Gmail compose)
    • Show/Hide the “open in Drawboard PDF” banner when the viewer isn’t replaced

  3. Sign in to your Drawboard PDF account when prompted.

  4. In Gmail, attach cloud files from the Drawboard icon in the compose window, or open a PDF attachment in Drawboard PDF.

  5. On the web or local, click a PDF link or drop a file into Chrome to open it in Drawboard PDF.

Once configured, you can tweak settings anytime from the extension menu to match how you like to work.
