Whether you’re marking up a contract, reviewing a report, studying lecture notes, or coordinating feedback with a team, your tools should feel natural the moment you open them.

With our latest update, Drawboard PDF’s iPad, iPhone, and macOS native apps now support three additional interface languages:

  • French
  • German
  • Korean

With this update to the local app interface, you can navigate tools, menus, and settings in the language you’re most comfortable with, making it easier to stay focused and productive from the moment you open a document. And if your team is remote or distributed across regions, localized interfaces help everyone work in the same toolset, without added friction or confusion.

By reducing language barriers in the interface itself, Drawboard PDF becomes easier to adopt and easier to standardize. New users can onboard faster and teams can collaborate more confidently, with each user’s app matching their preferred language.

How to change your app’s language

Drawboard PDF on iOS and macOS automatically follows your device’s system language. There’s no in-app language toggle, so once your Mac, iPhone, or iPad is set to a supported language, the Drawboard PDF interface updates automatically.

Supported languages are English, French, German, and Korean.

First, ensure your Drawboard PDF app is up to date.

Then, to change your device’s language:

  1. Open ‘Settings’
  2. Select ‘General’
  3. Click or tap ‘Language & Region’
  4. Choose ‘Add Language…’ (if needed), then select your language
  5. Tap ‘iPad/iPhone Language’, choose English / French / German / Korean, then ‘Confirm’

If you don’t see the language you expect right away, try restarting the app after changing your system language.

Update Drawboard PDF on your iPad, iPhone, or Mac, change the language settings on your device, and keep your PDF workflows moving smoothly.

If you spot any translation issues in the interface, let us know. Your feedback helps us continue improving the experience.
