Drawboard Projects

+
Google Drive
Upload drawings from Google Drive into Projects for instant markup and collaborative review sessions.

Overview

Google Drive is the shared workspace for many education and business teams on Google Workspace. It’s where drawing sets, documents, and change packages often live before review.

With the Google Drive integration, you can select drawings directly from Drive and import them into Drawboard Projects so feedback and approvals happen in one place.

Features + Benefits

Import from Drive:

Bring drawings from team or Shared Drives straight into Projects for markup.

Choose folders:

Pick the exact Drive folder or files you need during upload to keep sets tidy.

Faster handover:

Move packages into Projects quickly so reviewers can start the session sooner.

How to connect Google Drive

Connecting happens during your first upload and only takes a moment.

  1. In a project, open Drawings or Documents and click Upload.

  2. Select Google Drive in the dialog.

  3. Sign in to Google if prompted and grant access.

  4. Choose files or a folder and begin the upload.

From there, repeat the same steps any time a new Drive package is ready for review.

Ways to use Drawboard Projects and Google Drive

Drawboard Projects and Google Drive combine to make shared-drive workflows straightforward.

  • Design review drops: A team saves a new set to a Shared Drive. Import it to Projects and host a real-time markup session.

  • Change package checks: Pull just the revised sheets from Drive, annotate in Projects, and share outcomes back with stakeholders.

  • Academic critiques: For studio courses, upload student PDFs from a course Drive and conduct crits in Projects with issue tracking.

Integrate Google Drive with Projects today to move from folders to feedback in minutes.
