Drawboard Projects

+
OneDrive
Import drawings from OneDrive into Projects to mark up and collaborate without leaving your cloud.

Microsoft OneDrive is the file hub for many organizations using Microsoft 365, giving teams shared, secure access to project folders and documents. It’s where drawings often land before they’re ready for review.

With the OneDrive integration, you can pick files directly from your OneDrive and bring them into Drawboard Projects for markup and approval, without extra downloads or manual reshuffling.

How to connect OneDrive

You can connect and upload from OneDrive right in the Projects upload window.

  1. In a project, open Drawings or Documents and click Upload.

  2. Select the OneDrive option in the dialog.

  3. Sign in to Microsoft if prompted and authorize access.

  4. Pick files or a folder and start the upload.

Once connected, repeat the same steps any time you need to pull drawings from OneDrive.

Ways to use Drawboard Projects and OneDrive

Drawboard Projects and OneDrive combine to make your folder-to-review handoffs simple.

  • Consultant intake: A subconsultant shares a OneDrive link. Open Upload, pick that folder, import sheets, and start a live markup.

  • Weekly review sets: Keep a “Week XX” folder in OneDrive. Import that batch to Projects each Friday and capture feedback in context.

  • Closeout filing: After approval in Projects, export annotated PDFs and place them in your OneDrive handover folder for records.

Integrate OneDrive with Projects today to simplify imports and speed up reviews.
